Talks are resuming tomorrow to try and resolve a bitter feud that has for nearly two years divided the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Manhyia North constituency of the Ashanti Region.
It follows a successful Parliamentary primary there yesterday. Incumbent, Collins Owusu Amankwa retained the ticket after months of legal battles and confusion that led to several postponements.
Regional Secretary Sam Payne disclosed this in an interview with JOYNEWS Sunday. He indicated that, a meeting has been scheduled for Monday July 4, 2016 where all parties in the dispute will be convinced to call a truce as they prepare for the general elections in November.
Sam Payne said only united Manhyia North will secured the needed votes for the NPP to enable its flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo to win the elections.
