Liberia First Lady Claire Weah has been appointed CAF’s Ambassador for Women’s Football.
This was confirmed by CAF President Ahmad Ahmad Women football symposium in Morocco on Tuesday, 6 March 2018.
Stakeholders in women’s football deliberating on the progress of the game on the continent as well as discuss how best it could be further developed and promoted.
The forum also discussed marketing strategies to attract sponsorship for women’s football, as well as creating a more healthy partnership with the media.
