Young People's Initiative Visits Rising Star Orphanage Home


Young People’s Initiative – Ghana (YPI-Ghana) a Non-Governmental Organization on Saturday August 24 , 2019 paid a surprise visit to the Rising star orphanage home in Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region for the second time.

The one-day program saw volunteers and members of the YPI-Ghana gracing the occasion to educate, inspire, motivate and mentors the children at the home.

The president of YPI-Ghana, Akosua Ntiriwaa Anti educated the children on personal hygiene. She advised them to keep their body clean especially at the adolescent stage of development. Akosua also encouraged them to aspire for greatness in order to inspire them for a better future so as to give cheerfully to their brothers and sisters in the home.

A member of the YPI-Ghana team, Mr Isaac Osae Sakyi-Djan also motivated the children to take their studies seriously and aspire to become great personalities in future. He encouraged them not to look at today’s circumstances and judge their future because there is a brighter future ahead of them.

An amount of GHC 600.00 was donated to the home by YPI-Ghana team and also entertained the kids with varieties of music and dance.

The founder of the home Madam Bebe thanked YPI-Ghana for paying a surprise visit to the Orphanage home and encouraged them to continue their good works.

The event was refreshed by Elleana Chillz and Peaches Patisserie.
